Cairo School District employees understand fully!

However, since Julie was "kind" in her analysis, I thought it best to do the same.

Julie's gentle treatment can be chalked up to "timing". This paper was written (somewhat) before all hell broke loose and the "Four Horsemen of Apocalypse" visited CSD #1...under the guise of "administrator". (Those of you who lived through - SURVIVED - this time period can attach whichever administrator you see fit to whichever horseman!)

In October 1979, we had "only" gone through the struggle for recognition of the Cairo Association of Teachers as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for the certified employees, a.k.a. teachers' union. Also, "back in the day", the District was still focused primarily on education, rather than grinding axes and settling scores.

In short, the psychos had not yet been given full reign!

Also, this was a "course paper". As any good student knows, one must tone down the rhetoric to make it "acceptable" (believable?) to the instructor...AND...so as not to raise suspicions of paranoia for a psychology instructor! (Incidentally, Julie and I came to appreciate fully the old joke that "Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean that someone isn't out to get you!")

So...read Julie's (psycho) analysis with a grain of salt. Trust that an updated version would be VERY different.
